We are always looking to expand our team of Relief Staff to support the permanent team as required
To become a member of the Relief Staff team all you need is the ability to work for us as and when needed (there are no contracted hours available) and to enjoy working with children.
Some hours are planned in advance but can occasionally be short notice. There is a possibility of regular hours.
There are no qualification requirements, though a previous experience in working with children would be great.
We will ensure that all appropriate background and DBS checks are completed. We will provide necessary safeguarding training and access to free Educare online training.
The role involves being part of the preschool staff team and supporting the children’s learning and development. A full induction will be given which outlines the expectations and responsibilities.
Please note that Appleton Roebuck pre-school is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in its care. Successful candidates will be required to undergo suitable person checks including an enhanced DBS check and check of the children’s barred list. A copy of the safeguarding policy will be provided for review as part of any application, and all new starters will undertake a probationary period of 6 months.
