Appleton Roebuck Preschool Group is embarking on a survey of families in the local area to help inform its strategy over the next 2-3 years and our communications with Selby DC with regards to the local plan.

If you have children living with you, of any age in Appleton Roebuck and the surrounding villages, then please do fill out our survey. It will only take a few minutes.

We are considering school holiday childcare options and clubs for families within the community too.

The survey is designed to inform the following key strategic questions:

What is the current and short-term future need/demand for preschool childcare in Appleton Roebuck and surrounding villages during term time?

Is preschool currently meeting that demand? If not, what – if anything – could preschool realistically do to meet the demand?

Has the COVID pandemic changed the need/demand for family support locally?

Is there an unmet need for community groups to support children and families as a result of COVID or other factors?

Is there a need or demand for part time childcare in the school holidays? If so, what is needed – age, hours etc?
